The Procrastinator

TOMORROW: One of the greatest labor saving devices of today.

A quote I found on a blog I happened to read today. Unfortunately this is what rings the truest for me. I rely on the invention and potential promise of tomorrow and end passing up the present. The notion of a clean slate, can’t wait and the new beginning of tomorrow is a comforting feeling for a procrastinator, so beware of it as much as cherish it. It can easily disguise the escapism for the appearance of optimisim….a cynical thought, but true at times.

Inspiring Jobs. But gimme a break, you may have been destined to be the first to get proportional typeface to the computer world but certianly the world would have been no worse off without it. Perhaps we would have taken a differnt path altogether and landed up better. Don’t get bloated on your success as a drop out…It doesn’t happen to everyone, the stars and destiny have a big hand in it as well.

Adding another year

Why are birthdays special?? The sudden deluge of messages from friends and family near and far is a reassuring reminder of being alive and holding a place on this earth that matters to others. It fills me with a warm and fuzzy feeling. I should remember to always wish others on their birthday. Even though it seems trivial as we get older. The thought does matter. We take that one day in the year to make someone feel special and I think that is a huge sanity check for why we continue.

Part II of this post today:
I saw the post of these dudes today that took urban camping to Times Square, Manhattan! I guess it takes all kinds to make this world go round…sure brings a smile to the face…:) peace
