Busy Busy Busy…..
So whats with being busy..or rather pretending to be busy!! It almost seems that you are worthless if you are not posing as busy. People like to take pride in listing out the multitude of unfinished tasks on their to do list. I thought one should be taking pride in the tasks completed not pending…?? But this notiong of being busy seems to have infested all official institutions. The govt offices specially where there are no real world pressures of deadlines..lets face it. There is no bottom line to watch or project client to bill hours to. Everything was due yeaterday but no harm if it gets done at all ever…!! Pardon my being cynical here but just one of those days when I feel like spewing out some of the mental overflows….:)
